What proof of booking do you need to bring?
Please have access to your booking confirmation email, this can be displayed on your phone rather than printing it out.
What should my child have with them on the day?
Children will be expected to wear full school uniform for the exam and to bring the following equipment with them in a clear plastic bag or clear pencil case:
2 pens
2 sharp pencils
1 rubber
1 sharpener
1 ruler
For the break please provide water in a clear bottle and a snack in clear packaging (please ensure that your snack does not contain nuts).
Phones, calculators or digital watches will not be brought into the test centre.

Structure of Morning:
Please ensure that you arrive on time. No child will be admitted for testing after the test has commenced.
9:15 am registration
English Test (CSSE style - Comprehension, Applied Reasoning and Continuous writing)
Break - 15 minutes
Maths Test (CSSE style)
12 noon collection
Can parents wait at the school for the children?
There are no facilities to wait at the school, however, the test centre is situated in the heart of South Woodham Ferrers where there are plenty of shops and cafes to pass the time.
Can I see my child during the break?
To ensure the exam simulates as closely as possible the real CSSE examination, parents are not permitted to see their children during the break.
What if my child becomes unwell during the exam?
On-site, we will have a first aid trained invigilator and we will keep with us all emergency contact details of each child should we need to contact a parent during the examination.
